CTBC strictly prohibits any form of discrimination or harassment based on gender identity, race, ethnicity, age, sexual orientation, disability, marital status, or religious belief. Equal access and opportunities for participation in CTBC activities are vital to the society's functioning.
Participants in CTBC activities are expected to treat each other with respect and foster a collegial atmosphere that encourages the free exchange of ideas, irrespective of a person's identity. This policy applies to all society-related activities, both online and in-person, including meetings, workshops, field trips, mixers, and working groups. CTBC has a zero-tolerance policy towards discriminatory behavior and member harassment.
